El Paso is a populated county with several cities and towns, so here’s a small list of attractions to check out:

• Cheyenne Mountain Zoo has 30 endangered species and was voted the 6th best zoo in the U.S. It’s a beautiful zoo and you can even feed the giraffes.
• Air Force Academy is a prestigious military organization and university located in northern Colorado Springs.
• Explore Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs–it’s a registered National Natural Landmark. The landmark features 300’ sandstone rock formations and you can hike, rock climb and explore. Plus, stop by the Visitor’s Center while you’re there.
• The Broadmoor is a legendary destination resort in Colorado Springs with picturesque mountain views, luxurious accommodations and legendary service.
• North Pole in Cascade, CO celebrates the holidays starting in May with rides, shows, activities and of course, Santa!
• Polish your spelunking skills at Cave of the Winds through a variety of tours, including a lantern tour.
• The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), a component of America’s missile defense system, is located in Cheyenne Mountain Air Station. In the 1960s, Cheyenne Mountain was excavated to create an operational center.
• Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, in North America. The 14,115-foot (4,302.31 m) fourteener is located in Pike National Forest.
• Old Colorado City was founded during the PIkes Peak Gold Rush in 1859, and was added to the National Register of Historic Districts in 1982. Visit the quaint tourist area, with boutiques, art galleries and restaurants.
