- For horse enthusiasts/owners of all ages, the RCC Saddle Club provides activities such as trail rides, gymkhanas, rodeo’s, barrel races, team ropings and parades. Come visit RCC’s refurbished arena located in Colorado City, Colorado.
- If you enjoy hiking and the great outdoors, visit Pueblo Mountain Park. The park includes 611 acres with about six miles of trails. Take a hike or horseback ride along one of the trails. Stay at the Horseshoe Lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings both day and night.
- Lake Pueblo State Park includes 60 miles of shoreline and 10,000 acres of land in Pueblo County. Activities it offers include two full-service marinas, recreational fishing, hiking, camping and swimming at a designated swim beach.
- Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo has shops and restaurants tucked in near the riverwalk. It’s also a great spot for the July 4th fireworks!
- The Rosemount Museum is a Victorian mansion built in 1893. It’s been called “Colorado’s Crown Jewel,” and why it was selected for showing on the A&E cable network’s nationally televised “America’s Castles” and the HGTV Series “Christmas Castles.”
- San Isabel National Forest is located in central Colorado. The forest contains 19 of the state’s 53 fourteeners (aka peaks over 14,000 feet high) including Mount Elbert.
- Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum has two hangars with over 85,000 square feet and nearly a hundred years of military and aviation history to explore.
- Pueblo Zoo is a 30-acre zoo located in Pueblo, Colorado in the United States. The zoo is open year-round and is home to over 420 animals of more than 140 species.
- Bishop castle is a three-story building made of stone and iron, and you can climb and explore this interesting attraction in Rye.
