• Koshare Museum showcases an impressive collection of Native American and Western arts and artifacts.
• Otero Junior College is a two-year college offering 56 academic programs located on a 40-acre campus in La Junta.
• Arkansas Valley Fair celebrates Rocky Ford’s well-known produce with horse races, stock shows, a carnival and rodeo, fiesta and Watermelon Days.
• The Rocky Ford Museum takes a broad look at the area’s history from 1878 to now, including its geology, archaeology, ethnology, industries, as well as everyday life.
