Cynamin VanLue, Broker Associate
Cynamin was born and raised in Liberal, Kansas. She grew up with family, summering in Cuchara, Colorado, where she fell in love with its majestic mountains, wholesome people, family traditions, and enchanting wildlife. She has five generations of family who have built their lives vacationing and creating memories in Colorado. Cynamin met her husband Jim Vanlue, a La Veta native and Air Force veteran in Cuchara. After marrying in 1991, the newlyweds moved all over the United States inhabiting: Arizona, California, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Illinois. Finally, in 2010, Cynamin and her family were called back to the only place that ever felt like home, Cuchara. Cynamin is the mother of three tenacious boys, two who are La Veta High School alumni attending college and trade school, and one son is currently a student at La Veta High.
Jim and Cynamin started The Cuchara Country Music Festival, which was successful for three years in Cuchara. In 2016, the concert was moved to the La Veta airport and renamed,”The Spanish Peaks Music Festival.” Relocating this popular event to La Veta allowed for larger venues, different genres of music, RV camping and food vendors. Not only has this concert brought great revenue to Huerfano county, but its profits have helped many local organizations as well. Cynamin and her husband have become an integral part of the community, giving back daily, and helping ensure that visitors and residents are always welcomed warmly.
In 2016, Cynamin chased a quiet dream and followed her heart to become a licensed real estate broker. She is excited to join Code of the West Real Estate because of their innovative uses of technology, high level of customer service and company values. She has a natural talent with interior decorating, immaculate skills renovating, and a true love of people.
